When can I take the practice tests?
All of our practice tests will be immediately available on our online platform. You just need to log into your account and click View Dashboard to access the practice tests. You may work on the practice tests at any time that fits your schedule, and you may choose either timed mode or untimed mode. If you choose timed mode, you can pause a section to come back to later.
Do I have to take the practice tests online?
Our practice tests can be taken online or on paper! Students can print out a PDF of the test and take it on paper. Just enter their answers into our online scoring system to receive detailed analysis and personalized prep plan recommendations.
How similar are your practice tests to the official ISEE test?
We partner with ERB, the publishers of the ISEE, to ensure that our practice materials are accurate and reflect the difficulty, style, and content tested on the official ISEE. Our veteran test writers use test feedback to continually update our materials, which are used by top educators worldwide.
How does the free trial work?
Our free trial includes online and printable versions of the What to Expect sample test. The sample test is developed by ERB, makers of the ISEE. Students can take the sample test and receive interactive diagnostics, a score report, and get a feel for our online test-taking system.
Can I upgrade my package?
Yes! Our packages build on each other, so when you upgrade, you will only need to pay for the additional materials. You will pay the price difference between packages, plus a $10 upgrade fee.
If I take the test on paper, how will I score it?
You can score your paper test in one of two ways. You can fill out our online bubble sheet as you take the test in timed mode, which provides timing analysis for that test.
Alternatively, you can fill out the online bubble sheet after completing the test. This process will only take 1-2 minutes per test section, and you’ll immediately receive scores and diagnostics.
I previously purchased a paid package, can I add access to one more test by purchasing the Quick Start package?
No, to gain access to additional tests you’ll need to upgrade to a higher access package. Our packages build off each other, and we do not sell additional practice tests individually. The Quick Start package includes access to Practice Test #1. The Expanded package includes access to Practice Test #1, #2, and #3. The Advanced (our most comprehensive package) includes access to all six of our practice tests and 1 retired ISEE test. You can view your available upgrade options by logging in and clicking the green Upgrade button on your Dashboard.
How long will I have access?
With each package, you will have access to the platform and package materials for 12 months.
The free trial does not expire.
Is the essay section graded?
The essay section is not graded. It is not graded on the official ISEE test either, and our practice tests are designed to mirror the official test.
What is the personalized prep plan?
Based on your student’s test results, the personalized prep plan identifies areas for improvement, specifies which practice materials are most important, and provides information on effective exam strategies.
The prep plan is best used alongside our practice exercises. The prep plan will include suggestions on what topics to work on, and it will suggest the relevant practice exercises to help with that topic.
